COURSE INFORMATION
All routes start at Whole Foods Market and proceed immediately to the City of Roseville bike trail system. You'll run on smooth, paved pedestrian trails, alongside creeks, through wetlands, greenbelts and city parks. You'll be on city streets for ~1.5 miles of each route. The City of Roseville will close Galleria/Harding Blvd to auto traffic for your convenience and safety. The routes are mostly flat. Starting elevation at Fountains is 213', low point is 160'. The 13.1-mile course has some gradual elevation gains and losses on the out&back trail arteries (high point 341' on False Ravine Tr)
On the satellite maps for each route, you can choose map view or satellite view, and zoom in or out. Click on the tiny red arrow in the legend and you will be taken on an interactive tour of the route. Courses will be well marked with signs and volunteers on race day.
Aid
Aid Stations will serve cold water, Zico coconut water, and Hammer Gel. First Aid and other athlete comforts will be available, as well as SAG transportation. A mobile event services EMS will be on call to attend to athletes in distress quickly. Several remote porta potties will be available as described for each course.

Description: Starting at the back of Fountains at Roseville Promenade, you run through the central promenade of Fountains, exit onto Galleria Blvd in front of Whole Foods Market and turn Right. Proceed west on Galleria, through Berry St and Wills Rd signals (mile 1 aid, potty at Wills). Road then changes to Harding Blvd, and you proceed until you arrive at the Miner's Ravine bike trail entrance. Turn Right onto Miner's Ravine bike trail, immediately stay left at the trail fork to cross the pedestrian bridge over the creek.
Proceed on Miner's Ravine trail, heading toward downtown Roseville. Turn Right off the main trail onto the trail leading to the small William Taylor Park. Turn Right onto Parry St as trail ends at William Taylor Park. Turn Right onto Center St, follow it as it banks left 90 degrees and changes to East St. Proceed on East St to Atlantic St (mile 2 is just before Atlantic) and turn Right. Proceed on Atlantic St to Wills Rd and turn Right. Climb Willis Rd to Harding Blvd and turn Left (mile 2.4 aid, potty), staying on the oncoming traffic side of street, as westbound Harding will be closed to autos. Proceed on Harding, thru Berry St signal, and continue (name changes to Galleria Blvd) straight back to finish line at Whole Foods.

5k Terrain: Start at Whole Foods is 213' elevation. Gradual drop to Miner's Ravine trail entrance at 160'. Return to Whole Foods finish line at 213'.

Proceed on trail under I-80, then under Eureka Rd, passing the UA movie theaters above you. Mile 2 aid at UA Theater parking lot. Continue under N Sunrise Blvd. Just beyond the False Ravine trail intersection is the Turnaround at mile 2.75. Potty just before turnaround, you can visit coming and going.
Proceed homebound on Miner's Ravine trail. Pass aid at Mile 3.5, UA Theater parking lot, and continue back to Harding Blvd. Mile 4 is just beyond I-80 underpass. Proceed under Harding Blvd, emerge from the zig-zag climb and turn Right to cross the pedestrian bridge over the creek, heading toward downtown Roseville. Turn Right off the main trail onto the trail leading to the small William Taylor Park. Turn Right onto Parry St at William Taylor Park. Turn Right onto Center St, follow it as it banks left and changes to East St (mile 5 is at the 90-degree left bank). Proceed on East St to Atlantic St and turn Right. 10k Terrain: Start at Whole Foods is 213' elevation. Gradual drop to Miner's Ravine bike trail entrance at Harding, low point of course at 160'. Gradual elevation gain to Mile 2.75 turnaround at False Ravine Trail fork (206'). Return to Harding (160'), gradual elevation gain to back to Whole Foods at 213'.
13.1-mile

The trail now parallels E Roseville Parkway. Shortly after the N Sunrise Ave undercrossing, pass potty at mile 2.75 (and 10k turnaround), then stay RIGHT at the intersection of False Ravine Trail. Proceed under E. Roseville Parkway, forking left to remain on the main trail shortly after E. Roseville Parkway. Continue on the trail (with houses on the above left - Ridgecreek Way and Alexandra Dr), passing Aid station at Edinburgh Ct outbound (mile 4) until you reach the termination of the paved bike path near Sierra College Blvd.
Depart from paved trail onto dirt levee trail, continue briefly south and reach Mile 5. Then follow the trail as it turns west and you head back in the direction you came from. Just before reaching the paved bike trail (at a point further back from Sierra College Blvd), U-turn onto the lower dirt trail and head back in the direction of Sierra College Blvd. Rejoin the paved bike trail and return on an identical route, passing Aid station at Edinburgh Ct homebound (mile 5.7), back to the intersection of False Ravine Trail.
Turn Right onto False Ravine Trail (mile 6.9, potty), below homes on Stone Canyon Drive and through False Ravine Park. Reach Aid (mile 7.2) at Stone Canyon Dr just beyond E Roseville Pkwy underpass. Continue on False Ravine Trail to pass under Secret Ravine Parkway and alongside the homes on Luciana Way on the above left. Continue to the turnaround point at Luciana Ct access path, just before Scarborough Drive trail-end.
Return on False Ravine Trail, reaching Aid at Stone Canyone Dr just before E Roseville Pkwy underpass (mile 9.3). Continue back to Miner's Ravine Trail. Turn Right at Miner's Ravine Trail (potty, mile 9.7) to return to Harding Blvd on identical route. Reach Aid at UA theater homebound (mile 10.4).
Continue toward Harding Blvd. Proceed under Harding Blvd, emerge from the zig-zag climb, and turn Right (before Harding Blvd.) to cross the pedestrian bridge over the creek, heading toward downtown Roseville. Turn Right off the main trail onto the trail leading to the small William Taylor Park. Turn Right onto Parry St at William Taylor Park. Turn Right onto Center St, follow it as it banks left and changes to East St. Proceed on East St to Atlantic St and turn Right. Proceed on Atlantic St to Wills Rd and turn Right. Climb Wills Rd to Harding Blvd. Mile 12.4 aid and potty. Turn Left on Harding, staying on the oncoming traffic side of street, as westbound Harding will be closed to autos. Proceed on Harding, thru Berry St signal, and continue (name changes to Galleria Blvd) straight back to finish line at Whole Foods.

- Mile 12.4: Harding Blvd & Miner's Ravine Trail homebound (potty)
13.1-mile Terrain: Start at Whole Foods is 213' elevation. Gradual drop to Mile 1/bike trail entrance at Harding, low point of course at 150'. Gradual elevation gain to Mile 2 N. Sunrise underpass (206'), and continue gradual elevation gain toward Sierra College Blvd, with course high point at 292' on switchback section ~.25-mile before Sierra College Blvd at mile 5 (250'). Gradually lose elevation returning on Miner's Ravine Trail to the intersection of False Ravine Trail out and back section at Mile 7 (216').
Steady elevation gain on False Ravine Trail toward turnaround point at mile 8.5 (341'). This is the high point of the course. Steady elevation loss for the next 2.5 miles back to Harding Blvd trail exit at 160' - the low point of the course. Gradual elevation gain going up Harding to finish at Whole Foods and elevation 213'.
Kids 1-mile Run: This run is recommended for kids 10&Under and entry is free. All ages may enter and accompany young ones on their adventure.
